It’s also near two of Central Brooklyn’s largest employers: Kings County Hospital Center and SUNY Downstate, both technically located in East Flatbush at the Crown Heights border, together employing many thousands of shift-working parents. Families from East Flatbush reach us via the 2/5 or the B46 Select Bus Service.
A significant number of the families we serve work irregular hours, hospital shifts, overnight care work, retail schedules that shift week to week, and we try to be as clear as possible about what our hours can and can’t accommodate, rather than let a family assume more flexibility than we actually offer.

A Note on Hours,
Honestly
We open at 8am and close at 6pm, Monday through Friday. If your shift starts at 7am, we want to be upfront: our hours don’t cover an early drop-off before 8am. We’d rather tell you that plainly than have you find out after enrolling.
